Caregiver Supports

- Developmental Disability Services
Respite services (hourly or daily) provided to adults and children with developmental disabilities because of the absence or need for relief of (1) a family member or significant others, or (2) shared living providers who normally provide the care to individuals who cannot be left unsupervised. This funding is available to people found eligible for home and community-based services.
- Dementia Respite Program
A program that provides caregivers who care for someone with memory loss a break from caregiving responsibilities.
- Flexible Family Funding
These funds are used at the discretion of the family for services and supports that benefit a person with developmental disabilities and their family to enhance their ability to live together. Families receive a maximum of $1000 based on a sliding scale which may be used to pay for family respite, goods or services.
