ElderWise Certification Course for Independent Professional In-Home Caregivers
2008 Course Schedule
Intense 70-hour course in non-medical, client-directed, in-home, caregiving PCA
training, CPR, First Aid, working with those with Parkinson's Disease,
Alzheimer's Disease, diabetes, C.O.P.D., Low-fat, low-salt cooking, Emergency

This Certification course is offered in three sites. Classes at other locations may be arranged.
Brattleboro:
- Location: 22 Brown Court (off Putney Road)
- Days and times: Saturdays: 9am - 4pm, for ten (10) weeks
- Dates:
- Session I: March 15 - May 10, 2008
- Session II: September 6 - November 8, 2008
Burlington:
- Location: 12 North Street
- Days and times: Evenings: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 5:30pm - 9:30pm, for six (6) weeks
- Dates:
- Session I: March 25 - May 1, 2008
- Session II: June 2 - July 10, 2008
Middlebury:
- Location: 89 Court Street
- Days and times: Weekdays: Monday through Friday, 9am - 4pm, for two (2) weeks
- Dates:
- Session I: May 5 - May 16, 2008
- Session II: August 4 - August 15, 2008
- Session III: November 3 - November 14, 2008
Dates open for groups wishing to schedule courses:
May 17 - July 13 (Saturdays 9am - 4pm)September 22 - October 3 (Mon.-Fri. 9am - 4pm)
December 1 - December 12 (Mon.-Fri. 9am - 4pm)
Tuition:
- Cost: $800, includes all materials, fingerprint check, CPR and First Aid.
- Options for payment: VSAC Grant (contact ElderWise for application); major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover); cash or check.
- Refunds available until after the third class.
