Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

 The VT Foodbank warehouses, packs, and delivers 31-pound packages of commodity food to income eligible seniors, mothers and their children, once per month at distribution sites all across Vermont. Currently, the monthly caseload for this program is approximately 5,000 people.

What is CSFP?

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a nutrition program that offers free monthly nutrition

information and nutritious foods such as :

                                                                  Canned Fruits & Vegetables

                                                                  Fruit Juices




Who is eligible for CSFP?

60 years of age or order, living in Vermont and income-eligible

Individual and/or household income will be used to determine eligibility

Each household member may be eligible, and will need to complete an application form


2014 CSFP Income Eligibility Guidelines

Elders 60 years of age and older:

1 person: $1,265 per month

2 people: $1,705 per month

3 people: $2,144 per month

4 people: $2,584 per month

5 people: $3,024 per month
